Arachnoiditis and scoliosis
This is in reference to my post on Facebook.
That post described the search for solutions to congenitally caused intradural, #arachnoid #adhesions.
These should expand due to further acquired, viral and bacterially caused #CNS inflammations.
And then there is at least one other association with such findings that is unknown to almost all doctors.
It has long been known in the medical-paediatric literature that the skeletal malformation that is always so easily misinterpreted as idiopathic #scoliosis is caused by occult and misunderstood spinal intradural adhesions.
And yes, who is surprised that at the site with the maximum adhesion at the level of BWK 3/4 in my case, with the complex network of post-infectious hyperplastic arachnoid membranes that presumably already developed prenatally, the scoliosis shows its central manifestation exactly there …
