VP-Shunt-Assistant – Failed
Unfortunately, for weeks now I have been experiencing difficulties with the shunt assistant, which is located in front of my sternum and is supposed to help prevent negative pressure from developing when I change position orthostatically.
This all happened after a physical manoeuvre that generated shearing forces, no, it wasn’t during sex, and now every certain movement with the torso is very painful, and there are also occasional headaches when lying down.
On page 13 of the manufacturer’s instructions for use, it states that you can do sports and work normally.
Okay, then my physical activity was probably not normal, the manufacturer probably couldn’t specify what “normal” would be.
In any case, the dottores aren’t interested in this either, because for them everything – and bam – is psychological, and the complicated patient is quickly disposed of.
The last time such an irritation (mechanical, which the Dottore deliberately ignores and thinks of anger), which was triggered purely psychologically for stupid Dottores, led to meningoencephalitis in the other part of the implant, the distal catheter.
Until then, it remains psychological for the common Dottore.
Oh no, even then it remains psychological for the lazy dottore, because it was self-inflicted because the patient was in such a bad mood …
